Our first-ever Bike Fest was a fantastic celebration of bikes, community and connection — and a great opportunity to bring our local community together around something we all love.
From kids getting involved in activities and families exploring the shop, to bike enthusiasts enjoying talks, connecting over coffee and having a go at Bike n Blend, the day created a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere outside and inside the Community Bike Hub.
A key highlight was activating the street outside our bike shop. It gave us the opportunity to step beyond our four walls, connect with local residents and introduce more people to who we are, what we do and the role Community Bike Hub plays in the community.
The event also delivered valuable outcomes for our business. Bike Fest increased brand awareness, brought new customers through our doors and directly contributed to sales and servicing enquiries. More importantly, it helped strengthen relationships with existing customers while creating new connections with people who may not have
previously known about Community Bike Hub.
The success of Bike Fest was made possible through the support of the Community Bank Seddon and the West Gate Neighbourhood Fund, our passionate staff, charity partners and supporters. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their time, energy and resources to make the event happen.
For us, Bike Fest demonstrated the power of bringing people together in a fun, accessible and community-focused way. It showed that when we create opportunities for people to connect, learn and enjoy cycling, we can build stronger relationships while also growing awareness of our mission.
We’re proud of what we achieved together and excited to build on the momentum from our first Bike Fest as we continue building bikes, building community.
