The Midsumma Carnival promises to be bigger, better and more diverse than ever before. Celebrate the beginning of another fabulous festival and feel the vibes at an all-day and all-night party at Alexandra Gardens.

All the favourites (including the dog show) will be there along with a pinch of lip-syncing, drag dazzling, stellar acts, fine food and a pop-up bar. Arrive at 11am as the glitter begins to stir.

Peek at the program with bite sized performances, relax in the chill-out zone, meet friends in the family domain, tackle the sports precinct and stay cool in the under 18s area. That leads into the evening of T Dance, featuring a fantastic line-up of sassy sounds and DJs.

With safe spaces for families, friendlies, queer kinds and groupies you know there’ll be something to suit everyone. Slap on the sunscreen for a full day of festivities, then shimmy on into the night.
