We’ve been a proud, ongoing supporter of the Westsider since it was relaunched with the support of our parent company, Inner West Community Enterprises, in February 2017.
The free local newspaper provides a local voice for the community every month, built on the passion and creativity of community journalism, reaching homes and businesses across the western suburbs. It features stories, articles, events and more and generates a cycle of awareness, engagement, interaction and participation.
Founded in 2014, this unique, non-profit model empowers local voices often overlooked by mainstream media. Powered by volunteers and funded by local businesses, The Westsider advocates for the people, places, and stories that make Melbourne’s western suburbs so diverse and unique.
