Melissa is a self-taught Melbourne-based artist. Painting her eclectic colourful filled oil paintings from her home studio in Newport (or her living room), surrounded by all the simple joys of everyday life. Working around school runs and bedtimes, Melissa describes her work as “a chunk of happiness, brought to life with vivid colours and delicious texture.” Her style evokes movement and fluidity – almost like you are there in the painting as it is happening.
