As part of this year’s COVID-19 restrictions in Melbourne, the CWA Footscray have not been able to delight locals with their regular cake and produce stall. This has resulted in a stockpile of homemade produce and no opportunity to fundraise for their organisation.

Fortunately the team at the branch were delighted to step in and create an in-branch produce stall to sell the ladies’ wonderful array of jams, chutneys, sauces and pickles to customers and locals.

In these challenging times, a simple jar of homemade raspberry jam can really make someone’s day and customer (and staff) demand has been overwhelming. So much so, produce has needed to be re-stocked every week. At last count, the team had sold over $1,000 in produce, much to the surprise and delight of the CWA ladies.
