The team at the Community Bike Hub believe bicycles are a powerful tool for connection, inclusion, and opportunity.

As a not-for-profit social enterprise based in West Footscray, the Community Bike Hub is committed to creating an inclusive, sustainable cycling culture through hands-on bike education, affordable services, and community engagement.

They proudly support locals, refugees, and those in need — helping people from all walks of life gain access to bikes, skills, and community.

The Community Bike Hub is an accredited Child Safe Organisation, and proud to be a certified Social Traders, a social enterprise powered by community organisation, Local Impact.

The Community Bike Hub mission is to deliver equitable access to bike education and riding.

Whether you’re learning to ride for the first time, fixing your own bike, or helping others get rolling, the Community Bike Hub is here to ensure cycling is accessible for everyone — regardless of age, ability, or background.

The Community Bike Hub serves the local communities of Maribyrnong, Brimbank, and surrounding areas through a full-service retail workshop, education programs that reach over 1,000 people annually, and a volunteer program that supports equitable access to bikes.

They promote active transportation and build community in Melbourne’s diverse western suburbs. By combining social enterprise, education, and community support, they are helping to create more active, connected and resilient local communities.
