Suddenly Christmas was upon us and just as quick as it came around, it went.

For us here at Seddon Community Bank^® Branch, it was all about giving back and showing our community just how much we really care.

December began with a toy drive in support of the West Welcome Wagon, a local organisation servicing asylum seeker families in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

From there, we launched a food drive to help the Braybrook Community Hub feed hungry families as part of their 2019 Back to School Pantry program.

We even got behind the local Yarraville Christmas Carols, supplying marquees and assistance wherever it was needed.

It was at the Carols that one of our staff members presented a $2,500 cheque in support of the Hyde St Youth Band.

Customer Service Officer, Jasmin, said it was great to be able to contribute to the great work they do in the community.

“We have a long-standing relationship with the Band – they do so much more than teach kids how to play an instrument, the kids grow not only skills, but in confidence and self-worth too,” she said.

From getting behind the toy and food drives, to helping out at the Carols and supporting the local youth band… it’s safe to say, all of us here at Seddon Community Bank^® Branch loved every minute of it!
