Event Details

We know that all little kids are natural scientists and problem solvers. Inspire your little learner to think big and nurture their curiosity for science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Led by a Scienceworks educator, join us for workshops that explore different STEM topics and encourage children to use their senses to observe, question, predict and investigate the wonders of the world and everyday life.

In a play-based learning setting, you and your little one will listen to stories, sing songs, participate in exciting hands-on STEM challenges, and share discoveries.

Suitable for ages 3 – 5 years. Children aged under 3 are welcome to attend the workshop with their participating older sibling and parent/carer. Parents/carers are expected to participate in the workshop. Recommended maximum of two children per parent/carer.

SESSION TIMES

On each date, workshops run at 10.30am – 11.20am, and then again at 12pm – 12.50pm.

NEXT WORKSHOP: ROLL, SLIDE & SPIN

How do things move? Can I make it spin? What forces are at play? Go fast, go slow, go high and go low as we explore concepts of motion and gravity with problem solving challenges in these 50-minute workshops.
