Event Details

The western plains grassland has gone from one of our state’s richest and extensive ecologies to one of the state’s most critically endangered, in just decades.
In this session, get to know your local forgotten ecological neighbours and discover the rich natural treasures of your own backyard. Make a deeper connection with the species, local natural landscapes and ecologies and in doing so, learn how we as individuals and as a community can help to protect and nurture these ancient flowering grasslands.
‘We are the newest caretakers and custodians of this ancient land that we now also call ‘home’. Our home, our time, our turn.’ Dean Stewart – Wemba Wemba Wergaia
Bookings are essential as spaces are limited to allow for social distancing requirements.
