Join Scott from Werribee Park Heritage Orchard to learn how to maintain and sharpen your garden tools. Keeping your pruning and garden tools sharp and well maintained is good for the health of your plants and makes gardening more enjoyable. It also extends the life of your tools and keeps stuff out of landfill.
Learn how to sharpen secateurs, loppers, general pruning and grafting tools and your trusty shovel, as well as how to replace a timber handle.
Bring a pair of secateurs with you on the day. Each participant will take home a sharpening stone at the end of the session.
These workshops are supported by the Australian Government’s Communities Environment Program.
