Events

This class is an introduction to the basic techniques and materials for oil painting (you are welcome to work in acrylics if you prefer), including colour theory, paint properties, colour mixing, and oil medium. Each session builds on the previous one and all exercises are designed to provide students with hands on understanding of the four elements that produce a strong painting (edges, values, shapes and colours). A materials list will be provided upon registration.
