Spice up your life and explore basic dyeing processes with artist and herbalist Rasha Tayeh Beit e\’Shai. Using silks and spices, make your own silk dye using fresh and dried tumeric. This workshop is an extension of Rasha’s sold out Spice Trails event series held at FCAC; a series of immersive performative dinners inspired by the spice trade along Silk Road. Participants will take their creation to the next level, learning how to present and use the fabrics as a tactile, textured gift-wrap to take home.
