Do you have a curiosity or passion for writing and rhythm? Whether you’re in it for the writing or performance, discover why spoken word poetry is so powerful and popular amongst young people. In this writing workshop, renowned poet and spoken word champion Thabani Tshuma guides writers of all levels, through his creative process. This workshop will cover the following topics:

– Q&A on writing and performance
– Authentic expression through writing
– Page-to-stage: adapting work for performance
– Performance basics: stage presence, breathing, memorisation
