Event Details

THE BEE GEES: HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART, the first feature-length documentary about the legendary band who wrote more than 1,000 songs, created twenty number one hits and sold more than 220 million records to date. The film chronicles the rise of the iconic group, consisting of brothers Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb, their music and its evolution over the years and includes contemporary interviews with Barry Gibb, Eric Clapton, Mark Ronson, Noel Gallagher, Lulu, Nick Jonas, Chris Martin and Justin Timberlake.

“an intimate look” at the three brothers, Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb, who made up the legendary 1970s pop group… like so many people, I’ve loved the Bee Gees’ music all my life. “But discovering their uncanny creative instincts and the treasure trove of music, their humour, and loyalty was a great two-year journey.” – Frank Marshall

“It’s an honour to tell the story of the Bee Gees – as brothers, as superstars and iconic songwriters – and to shine a light on their incredible career and the global impact of their music.” – Jody Gerson, an executive producer on the film and currently Chairman/CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group.

“This is a story of how three brothers with paramount musical gifts created music that touched the collective unconscious across five continents for five decades straight,”
