The Community Bank Seddon recently supported the Moonee Valley Bridge Club (MVBC) 2022 Congress (competition) held over three days from Friday 5th till Sunday 7th of June. The event was a resounding success after a two year absence due to Covid with more than 250 keen players taking part. Bridge is a challenging and highly competitive card game that’s played world-wide.
It was fabulous for the clubs to get back together after playing on line for so much of the last two years. Being able to see and talk to the people while playing bridge with is so much more rewarding! The majority of players were members of the MVBC but many of the best players from both metropolitan and regional Victorian clubs joined in.
The congress required a great deal of effort to organise and so many club members rose to the occasion to help out, play, provide delicious food and offer their time as volunteers and fill in players.
Not only was there lots of great bridge but the sessions were enhanced by a mobile cart providing barista coffee and at the end of the day a bar with hot food and drinks.

A very big thanks to the Community Bank Seddon, all involved, and looking forward to seeing an even bigger event next year.
