Supporting the Community Bike Hub since 2019
The Community Bank Seddon became a proud partner of the Community Bike Hub in 2019, supporting the expansion of the successful Footscray Bike Hub Volunteer Program in partnership the Rotary Club of Footscray.
The Community Bike Hub has since grow to several sites serving the local communities of Maribyrnong, Brimbank and surrounding areas through a full-service retail workshop and education programs that reach over 1,000 people annually.
Their volunteer program continues to recycle and repurpose donated bikes to support refugees, asylum seekers and those in need with bikes while recycling and saving thousands of kilograms of bike parts and materials from landfill.
As a not-for-profit social enterprise based in West Footscray, the Community Bike Hub is committed to creating an inclusive, sustainable cycling culture through hands-on bike education, affordable services and community engagement.
