Back in 2015 we sat down and thought about ways to help our local community groups and clubs connect with local business.

Our aim – to help fund some much need projects.

The outcome… the now annual, Seddon Community Pitch.

Participating groups, clubs and organisations (aka pitch applicants) have three minutes to pitch to local business owners for their share in funds.

Now in its fourth year running, the Community Pitch has connected 33 community organisations with businesses who have contributed more than $55,000 to local projects.

Here at Seddon Community Bank® branch, we’re kicking off the funding pool with a $10,000 contribution.

Our Branch Manager, Ashley Coles, said that the event is a fun way for business owners to connect with what’s going on in their community.

“There are so many organisations and volunteers working tirelessly in our community every day without much acknowledgment. It’s such a fun night, there are always plenty of laughs and inevitably some tear-jerking moments as well.,” Mr Coles said.

“A little can go such a long way,” he concluded.
