In early July, the Bendigo Bank Community Bank Network celebrated its largest year of support for the Magic Moments Foundation Youth Summit!
Over 30 of our Community Banks supported over 100 local teenagers from across Australia, helping them attend the transformative 5-day summit in Kyneton, Victoria.
Through interactive sessions, teens (aged 14–17) built critical real-world skills to help them thrive, including:
Financial literacy & entrepreneurship
Mental resilience & mindfulness
Leadership & giving back to their local communitiesAruna from Local Impact’s Money Mentor Program presented all things finance and shared “the interaction with the room was as impressive as some of the mature and thought-provoking questions and responses from the young people.”
For 13 years, our Community Bank network has supported this initiative, helping transform 649 young lives. The Youth Summit graduates from the previous year presented their pitches in an entrepreneur session and spent time with fellow Community Bank boards and the Bendigo Bank Community Foundation.
