The Snapshots of Seddon community photography competition is an initiative of the Seddon Community Group. The competition was started in 2006 by Seddon local Larissa MacFarlane and is enormously popular amongst the community.

Previously the local Seddon traders have given up their valuable window space for a month and played host to the hundreds of entries that form the much loved street gallery through the Seddon Village.

The team from Seddon Community appreciate the collection of photos as a wonderful archive of the history of our rapidly changing suburb and have decided to create an exhibition showcasing entries from the 2006 – 2016. Once again, local traders are donating their windows spaces to create a street gallery for the exhibition, in the hope of generating support to bring the competition back to Seddon in 2020!
