Avery Clark aka Amuse One is a graffiti artist inspired by the 1980’s graffiti letter style movement in New York City. Mostly involved in creating stylised graffiti letters, he occasionally paints portraits and a wide variety of other subjects mostly in spray paint as it is quick, colourful and lasts the test of time.

Amuse One runs his own graffiti battle competitions around the world in the USA, UK, Mongolia and in most of the capital cities in Australia. These battles are titled the ‘War of the Words’ and every battle is decided by thousands of followers to this competition online.

He is originally from the United States but has spent the last few decades in Australia and the last 10 years in the inner west of Melbourne, painting murals and enjoying all the unique sights, sounds and tastes the west has to offer.

Avery’s work will be on display from the 5th June – 14th July.
